Teeming like ants..

Mood: Frustrated

I know that most people spend their Sundays with family. Usually, the time spent is by eating together may it be at a hawker centre, picnic or places that sell... well, food. And when I say family, I mean extended family. From grandparents to the youngest grandchild in the pram. They would head on to the best eating place that was advertised in the papers or televised on the morning talkshow. Apparently, the place that I have been heading to was recomended by the local morning talkshow and thus, my 'sacred' Pari Panggang place was intruded by these families. I knew good things wouldn't last. The virgin Tanjung Pagar Railway Station has been devirginized. Just was the scene tonight when I went there for dinner. It was teeming or rather swarmed with half the population of the malay commmunity. New stalls have even sprouted. Now they offer another satay stall, a dessert stall, and this kueh that u have to eat with red sugar[unfortunately, i'm not familiar with most malay kueh's name. -_-"]. There weren't anywhere to sit either. everyplace was taken up and everyone was milling around hoping to get seats. And there was even a waiting line for the seafood restaurant Fir Iqbal. 1 freaking hr. Haiz... I just can't believe it. I have now lost a great place to eat and chill. We ended up having dinner at Beach Rd. Thats where I had kebabs. The kebab is superb.. u can actually taste the herbs that he uses. but note.. turkish guys are such flirts. Anyhow, we drove around Deskar Rd and Geylang.. Don't ask me why but some of my bros wanted to see the ladies of the night and my dad actually complied...
Im bushed and frustrated that i didnt get my BBQ stingray. Weekdays will be the days I go there then :(
