The Ring That Started It All
Mood: Perplexed... I have a crystal ring about 0.5cm in diameter set in silver which I have worn eversince.. Apparently, some people thought that I am engaged. One or two family member did..
Frankly, if I am engaged, shouldn't my family know about it first?
I love my crystals and gold and diamonds...
If I were to wear them (not all at the same time cos i'm not an Anak Mami Jarum) does it mean im engaged/married?
Hello people, women nowadays are independent.. a ring does not signify a marital status.
And if I am engaged, insyaAllah, you guys will know about it..

The Ultimate Question
Tots: Surrounded by Dumbass Professionals
Recently, The Straits Times did a survey on several working professional in Raffles. They asked a few general knowledge questions and out of 100, only 3 could answer all of them correctly..
Here's some of the simple Questions...:
How many legs does an ant has? Ans: 6 Dumbass Ans: It depends.. [depends on what? if you stepped on it? or maybe it fell into a vat of toxic waste and grew 3 more legs on its forehead]
How many planets are there in our solar system? Ans: 9 - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Dumbass Ans: 12 [12? wait let me guess.... Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and MyAnus .. wkahahkhakahkahakhahka]
What is photosynthesis? Ans: Its the process by which plants make food. Dumbass Ans: has it got to do with photos? [Mampos! nampak sah CamWhore!]
Whats the chemical name for salt? Ans: Sodium Chloride Dumbass Ans: salt lah.. can't remember so long already grad from sec sch.. [ what can you remember? and how ancient can you be?]
Sheesh!!! Professional with these kinda answers... And these are the people that might have kids in the very near future. I'd say... please send your kids to a gd school... what a disgrace.
I'd forgive you if you can't answer this next question correctly..
Where's Wally? p/s: if you ask yourself 'Who's Wally?' pls hitchike with the next alien spaceship that comes our way.. prolly you could even see the 13th planet.

Holidays and such
Mood: Fun Filled Activities
The thing about having your holidays is that you just occupied your time with lots of activities. Going out to different places and exploring... Especially when you enjoy the company of some friends or a certain someone. Relaxing by the beach, watching a laser show, sharing a meal or just read a book and a cup a latte in a cafe..
Even taking a bus ride home is exciting. [yours truly don't take buses cos she'll likely to end up throwing up her stomach content.]
So far, I have watched a few films, a play, a performance, an exhibition and a few picnics in the past 2 weeks..
And for a forecast, I have at least 2 weeks more of holidays.... ehhehehe I should start arming myself with a tourist map of Singapore so I can fill my schedule.

My Birthday Surprise
Mood: Wonderfully Surprised
It took 5 days for it to totally sink it. But it all started that like a psychotic nightmare cos he told me he was late and got me to walk along to the Singapore River.
In the darkening light, it was really eerie. Then I got to wait for him with my eyes closed.. I was totally prepared to be strangled. hehahahahha berdentam dentum hati..
abihtu bau bunga macam frangipani... how would u feel when u smell a sickly sweet smelling flower in the evening at the singapore river? Tak macam nak lari lintang pukang? until he kissed me on the head and wished me Happy Birthday. He looked so smart and handsome in the shirt. *swoons*
That was the first time someone surprised me with a bouquet of liles.. When he passed me the bouquet, he kissed me again on the head and sprang out this sinfully deliciously chocolate mousse cake from SweetSecret.. or something... And for some reason, he made me lose all control of my limbs so he fed me the cake... it was with a lighted candle AT the Singapore River where the BREEZE made it really hard for his poor lighter.
I thought that was it.. a special simple birthday with the one i've fallen for at the place where we first shared a moment. I was already happy, soaking in everything and looking at him smile... Eventhough it made me uncomfortable initially since its been a long time since someone looked at me that way. And another surprised bubbled up. From his bag, he took out this big package wrapped in a translucent paper.
I was giggling and shocked frankly... it didn't hit me that all these were my gifts [read:plural]. The last time I had multiple gifts from someone was from Nish... and that was a year ago. I could still remember it vividly. From the wrapper, I saw this rainbow coloured silk pashmina shawl which in turn wrapped another black oriental wool pashmina shawl with a red embroidered border which in turn wrapped ANOTHER beautifully intricately designed gold cashmere pashmina shawl... [breathe in.. breathe out.... oooh cannot tahan... too much surprise.] I loved the last shawl the most.. but it didnt stop there... the last shawl wrapped one of my fondest chilhood memory... which is a HUGE box of Almond Roca..
This from a person that was just beginning to get to know me barely 20 days ago and who actually LISTENED to my ramblings... my thoughts... How could you not fall in love for this darling of mine? aaaww....
Thanks Baby.

Overdue Items = $37.95
1 day late: $1.15 33 days late: 1.15 x 33 = $37.95
Mood: Overdued
Too many things happened in the span of one month. It was also an emotional ride. here's what happened starting from the 2nd of Syawal...
I had to work on the second day of Raya with a record of 12 students. So we all played Lego all day long. And since my contract was abt to end soon, I began clearing up all of my junk. There were tonnes of it..
The week after, it was the last week of school and we had a farewell party. [Pics are uploaded] It was fantastic. Having a disco and loads of candies made the kids rabid with high sugar content. They were practically jumping off the walls. I cried when the kids told me they didn't want to leave me. It touched me so deep. So many hugs and Kisses... I miss them all already. And one of their parents bought me a silver bracelet. Touched.. Love them to bits.
It was also my last day at the centre and I thanked all the teachers for a lifetime of experience. Especially for Kak Faridah and Cik Maznah.. They very much gave me a heads up on the politics of working life. If you do it right, you wouldn't come home mumbling to yourself and start twirling your hair.
On the 23rd of Nov, I kidnapped 2 adorable kids to spend Darwish's 4th Bday. Brought him out for a movie of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was also a first date with someone really charming. I had so much fun, it made Atul gigglish. I'm very inerested with people who can sincerely enjoy the company of small children. Even when they are a lil sticky and whiny.
The next day, I took them to Sentosa for a picnic and a swim. I packed some casserole and white chocolate brownies and a tumbler of lemonade. Many pics were taken [also uploaded]. They tried making their own sandcastle but instead made a mini swimming pool in the sunset.I guess it was much easier to dig sand out then to heap them up. But the sunset was beautiful. They always are when its at the beach. We went off by 8pm and the both of them hijacked me cos they fell asleep almost instantly. I just had to carry Awish and drag Atul along when we reached my place. Seesh!
Waking up with kids by your side is the most AWESOME experience. I just have to start trailing my finger around his ears and he would wake up giggling. And its not the normal giggle but the contagious kind. Then pillow fights followed by a Sunday Brunch on a Friday afternoon. This is what life is all about....
On Saturday, I had to return the kids to their original residence and go out with that same Mr Charming. Before that, I had to run some errands such as collecting my passport. So bring them along made time fly faster. After I got them, Awish made a remark. He asked me, 'What happened to YOU in this passport?' referring to the fatter pic. hehehehe I even took some pics: SleepOver. Then meeting Mr Charming for an Asian First Film at the Singapore History Museum, it turned out to be fantastic. Unarmed Combat scores a 9.8 from me. I loooove the vintage props. Then Mr Charming took me to a walk from Clark Quay to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Yes we walked. except for the last 1 km cos I was already tired. It was my first time really, walking thru Far East Square and having so much fun as well. It was even better fun to teach Mr Charming to eat his first Kacang Pool and Chen Teng. But I must say that I'm saddened over the closure of Fir Iqbal seafood Restaurant. No more BBQ Stingray *Pouts* Overall, I really felt like a lady when I went out with him. 8/10 is his ranking. khehahahhahaha
On Sunday, I went to Pontian again for a wedding. It wasn't like the last time round cos we had to do so much waiting. Asum took many pics [uploaded too]. So finally, we did set off for some shopping and I bought 2 movies. Puteri Gunung Ledang and Batman Returns. We watched Batman Returns in the car while on the way home and there was a super traffic jam which lasted the whole of the movie. And right after the SG checkpoint, Isaw a very cute sign... Look it up in the pics.. hehe
On Monday, my mind went blank for a test on Motivation. There.. nothing to talk about.
Tuesday, another date with Mr Charming.. at serangoon. Fooled around in Mustafa centre and bought loads of stuff. then we over stuffed ourselves with Thosai and then walked in the rain. *blushing* This guy really \werkz/
Its Daddy's birthday and we had a simple dinner at Changi. Before that, it was the testing of nuclear warfare at home. Sister Style. So all 5 of us left her and had BBQ stingray, Rojak, Kerang and Fish n Chips [Pics are uploaded too] oh and some juicy news.. which continued till the next day...
Mr Charming aka Bigmo and I have been talking almost everyday and its kinda hard not to be interested in him. And to make it even more better, I love the way he makes me feel when we are out. Well, apparently, I'm not clapping with one hand. Woot! *blushing*
Friday was an amazing day of laser and fire, water and dance. He made me dance but i felt too kooky and he shouldered me and ran like a lunatic while i laughed like a kid.. Truly amazing that im so comfortable in my own skin with someone else around.
*still blushing* we went to watch a play at the National Library then for a funny bus ride to Expo where I experienced the Spanish Inquisition. kHahakhahkahahahhaha. But what is romantic is the dinner at Changi and the kiss on the forhead by the shore... I'd like to call that The Forehead Effect. *swoon* The first and the best and I just hope there is more to come. *Muacks*
