Episode III: Return of the Sith

Mood: May the Force be with you...

Finally!! I watched Episode III on a rainy Thursday in a freezing Marina cinema clad in a long non-thermal skirt without my pashmina wool shawl for protection against the elements and I enjoy every second of it till the credits rolled in.

My date, Y, said he didnt manage to get Star Wars initially when we were having dinner at LJS. He said he got The Amityville Horror at 1830hrs instead and is prepared to get his arms shredded by me during the movie. All throughout the dinner, I psyched myself up for a horror movie. So we talked about Hitler being a great leader [His view] and on the way to GV, I found 2 tickets for StarWars Eps III scheduled at 1800hrs. heheh what luck.. I asked Y if he wants to use the tixs I found instead but he said we would have missed 30 mins of it. awwww.. there goes a chance to escape from a horror movie.

So we settled in our seats and I felt like I was in the wrong cinema cos it was filled to the brim. I thought that it was simply wrong for a horror show to be this packed. there were couples deep in conversation, old caucasian men in suits with their posh dates, JC students and families with kids... Thats where it all sinked in. I was tricked... It was THE movie I was waiting for....\m/

The starting of the movie was hilarious. Lots of humour that exceeded my expectations of George Lucas. He made his battle droids have emotion and sarcasm... hehahahah.. that is so cute especially when they scream in pain when they were cut in half with Annakin's lightsabre. What I don't get is why Annakin didn't feel that Chancellor Palpatine was bad.. I meant, you can see it from the way he acted... he is evil as evil does.

Oh.. Padme is soo beautiful. I guess thats what happens in hollywood right? you go to bed, and your hair would still look great. what I don't get is why did she have to wear that nightdress with the pearls to bed? Its way too formal for bed wear.

Ok now lets talk about the best parts... The Fighting Scenes.. All synchronized steps with the glow of the lightsabre spinning. I simply love it. The way their robes spin and flow, the lightsabre repelling each other, sparks crackling and the sound... zreeenng... zrennng.. hhehehehhe..

the conclusion, Episode III: Return of the Sith is awesome compared to the first two.

I shall watch it again. No doubt about it.
