My Birthday Surprise
Mood: Wonderfully Surprised
It took 5 days for it to totally sink it. But it all started that like a psychotic nightmare cos he told me he was late and got me to walk along to the Singapore River.
In the darkening light, it was really eerie. Then I got to wait for him with my eyes closed.. I was totally prepared to be strangled. hehahahahha berdentam dentum hati..
abihtu bau bunga macam frangipani... how would u feel when u smell a sickly sweet smelling flower in the evening at the singapore river? Tak macam nak lari lintang pukang? until he kissed me on the head and wished me Happy Birthday. He looked so smart and handsome in the shirt. *swoons*
That was the first time someone surprised me with a bouquet of liles.. When he passed me the bouquet, he kissed me again on the head and sprang out this sinfully deliciously chocolate mousse cake from SweetSecret.. or something... And for some reason, he made me lose all control of my limbs so he fed me the cake... it was with a lighted candle AT the Singapore River where the BREEZE made it really hard for his poor lighter.
I thought that was it.. a special simple birthday with the one i've fallen for at the place where we first shared a moment. I was already happy, soaking in everything and looking at him smile... Eventhough it made me uncomfortable initially since its been a long time since someone looked at me that way. And another surprised bubbled up. From his bag, he took out this big package wrapped in a translucent paper.
I was giggling and shocked frankly... it didn't hit me that all these were my gifts [read:plural]. The last time I had multiple gifts from someone was from Nish... and that was a year ago. I could still remember it vividly. From the wrapper, I saw this rainbow coloured silk pashmina shawl which in turn wrapped another black oriental wool pashmina shawl with a red embroidered border which in turn wrapped ANOTHER beautifully intricately designed gold cashmere pashmina shawl... [breathe in.. breathe out.... oooh cannot tahan... too much surprise.] I loved the last shawl the most.. but it didnt stop there... the last shawl wrapped one of my fondest chilhood memory... which is a HUGE box of Almond Roca..
This from a person that was just beginning to get to know me barely 20 days ago and who actually LISTENED to my ramblings... my thoughts... How could you not fall in love for this darling of mine? aaaww....
