Too many things happened in the span of one month. It was also an emotional ride. here's what happened starting from the 2nd of Syawal...
I had to work on the second day of Raya with a record of 12 students. So we all played Lego all day long. And since my contract was abt to end soon, I began clearing up all of my junk. There were tonnes of it..
The week after, it was the last week of school and we had a farewell party. [Pics are uploaded] It was fantastic. Having a disco and loads of candies made the kids rabid with high sugar content. They were practically jumping off the walls. I cried when the kids told me they didn't want to leave me. It touched me so deep. So many hugs and Kisses... I miss them all already. And one of their parents bought me a silver bracelet. Touched.. Love them to bits.
It was also my last day at the centre and I thanked all the teachers for a lifetime of experience. Especially for Kak Faridah and Cik Maznah.. They very much gave me a heads up on the politics of working life. If you do it right, you wouldn't come home mumbling to yourself and start twirling your hair.
On the 23rd of Nov, I kidnapped 2 adorable kids to spend Darwish's 4th Bday. Brought him out for a movie of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was also a first date with someone really charming. I had so much fun, it made Atul gigglish. I'm very inerested with people who can sincerely enjoy the company of small children. Even when they are a lil sticky and whiny.
The next day, I took them to Sentosa for a picnic and a swim. I packed some casserole and white chocolate brownies and a tumbler of lemonade. Many pics were taken [also uploaded]. They tried making their own sandcastle but instead made a mini swimming pool in the sunset.I guess it was much easier to dig sand out then to heap them up. But the sunset was beautiful. They always are when its at the beach. We went off by 8pm and the both of them hijacked me cos they fell asleep almost instantly. I just had to carry Awish and drag Atul along when we reached my place. Seesh!
Waking up with kids by your side is the most AWESOME experience. I just have to start trailing my finger around his ears and he would wake up giggling. And its not the normal giggle but the contagious kind. Then pillow fights followed by a Sunday Brunch on a Friday afternoon. This is what life is all about....
On Saturday, I had to return the kids to their original residence and go out with that same Mr Charming. Before that, I had to run some errands such as collecting my passport. So bring them along made time fly faster. After I got them, Awish made a remark. He asked me, 'What happened to YOU in this passport?' referring to the fatter pic. hehehehe I even took some pics: SleepOver. Then meeting Mr Charming for an Asian First Film at the Singapore History Museum, it turned out to be fantastic. Unarmed Combat scores a 9.8 from me. I loooove the vintage props. Then Mr Charming took me to a walk from Clark Quay to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Yes we walked. except for the last 1 km cos I was already tired. It was my first time really, walking thru Far East Square and having so much fun as well. It was even better fun to teach Mr Charming to eat his first Kacang Pool and Chen Teng. But I must say that I'm saddened over the closure of Fir Iqbal seafood Restaurant. No more BBQ Stingray *Pouts* Overall, I really felt like a lady when I went out with him. 8/10 is his ranking. khehahahhahaha
On Sunday, I went to Pontian again for a wedding. It wasn't like the last time round cos we had to do so much waiting. Asum took many pics [uploaded too]. So finally, we did set off for some shopping and I bought 2 movies. Puteri Gunung Ledang and Batman Returns. We watched Batman Returns in the car while on the way home and there was a super traffic jam which lasted the whole of the movie. And right after the SG checkpoint, Isaw a very cute sign... Look it up in the pics.. hehe
On Monday, my mind went blank for a test on Motivation. There.. nothing to talk about.
Tuesday, another date with Mr Charming.. at serangoon. Fooled around in Mustafa centre and bought loads of stuff. then we over stuffed ourselves with Thosai and then walked in the rain. *blushing* This guy really \werkz/
Its Daddy's birthday and we had a simple dinner at Changi. Before that, it was the testing of nuclear warfare at home. Sister Style. So all 5 of us left her and had BBQ stingray, Rojak, Kerang and Fish n Chips [Pics are uploaded too] oh and some juicy news.. which continued till the next day...
Mr Charming aka Bigmo and I have been talking almost everyday and its kinda hard not to be interested in him. And to make it even more better, I love the way he makes me feel when we are out. Well, apparently, I'm not clapping with one hand. Woot! *blushing*
Friday was an amazing day of laser and fire, water and dance. He made me dance but i felt too kooky and he shouldered me and ran like a lunatic while i laughed like a kid.. Truly amazing that im so comfortable in my own skin with someone else around.
*still blushing* we went to watch a play at the National Library then for a funny bus ride to Expo where I experienced the Spanish Inquisition. kHahakhahkahahahhaha. But what is romantic is the dinner at Changi and the kiss on the forhead by the shore... I'd like to call that The Forehead Effect. *swoon* The first and the best and I just hope there is more to come. *Muacks*
